What would you do if you survived the apocalypse? Would you remain with your family with very few if any comforts, or would you take a chance and venture off in the hopes of finding a better life? Would your answer depend upon your age? This story describes the response of these questions from characters, Mara, the rebellious and free-spirited child and her parents who try to stop her from seeking a new life in a strange new world.
